Append ?dockadmin=off to any admin URL to load the plain WordPress admin. You can also add define( 'DOCK_ADMIN_DISABLED', true ); to your wp-config.php. In Pro, “Back to default” restores readable colors and sizes with one click.
No. The plugin never adds or removes capabilities. In Pro, the optional access rule goes one step further than hiding: it blocks the screens behind menu entries you hid for a role, so a bookmarked URL no longer opens. It does not replace a role editor for fine-grained permissions.
Free gives you both modes with a fixed look and light/dark. Pro unlocks all design settings, skins, role-based menus, custom icons, the background image, dock position, the front-end dock and live preview, plus the menu editor, notification center, access rules and the branding pack.
No visitor ever loads it. In the backend it adds about 35 KB gzipped (CSS, JavaScript and the icon set). The front-end dock in Pro only loads for logged-in users.

The site stores two entries in your browser’s local storage: your light/dark choice (wae-theme) and the confirmation of the notice at the bottom of the page (wae-notice). Both stay on your device. They are not sent to us and you can delete them in your browser settings at any time. They are strictly necessary to remember your choice (§ 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG).
When you visit this site, our hosting provider processes technical data that your browser transmits, such as IP address, date and time, requested page, referrer and browser type, in server log files. This is necessary to deliver the site and keep it secure (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Log files are deleted after a short period.
If you write to us, we process your message and email address to answer your request (Art. 6 (1) (b) or (f) GDPR) and delete it when it is no longer needed, unless statutory retention periods apply.
Pro licenses are sold through a payment provider that acts as merchant of record. The provider processes your payment data, billing address and email address to complete the order and to meet tax duties, and is responsible for that processing under its own privacy policy. We receive the data needed to deliver the license and provide support (name, email, order number, license data). Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) and (c) GDPR. Invoices are kept for the statutory retention period.
The free plugin sends no data to us. For Pro, license verification and update checks contact our license server and transmit the license key and the address of the website the license is used on, so that updates can be delivered (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR).
This site links to WordPress.org and other sites. When you follow a link, the operator of that site may process your data under its own policy.

These terms apply to purchases of a WP Admin Evolution Pro license from ambition GmbH (“we”). The free plugin on WordPress.org is not covered; it is provided under the GPL (see the plugin’s readme).
Orders are placed through our payment provider, which acts as merchant of record. The contract is concluded when the provider confirms your order. Prices are shown in US dollars; taxes are added at checkout.
A Pro license is valid for the number of websites named in the plan you bought (1, 5 or, for the Agency plan, unlimited). It includes updates and email support for 12 months from purchase. After that period the plugin keeps working; renewing the license again provides updates and support. Each client site needs a place in your plan. You may not resell or share the license key or the plugin files outside your license. The plugin code is licensed under the GPL v2 or later; the license key governs updates and support.
Delivery is digital. After payment you receive a license key and a download link by email.
We answer support requests by email as quickly as we reasonably can. There is no guaranteed response time except where agreed in the Agency plan.
The plugin changes the appearance and navigation of the WordPress admin area. Please test it on a staging site and keep a backup before using it on a live site. We are liable without limit for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, under the Product Liability Act and where we have given a guarantee. For slight negligence we are liable only for the breach of essential contractual duties (duties whose fulfilment makes the contract possible and on which you may rely), and then limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this kind of contract. Otherwise liability is excluded. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For consumers, mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live remain unaffected.

We refund the full price to the original payment method, usually within a few working days. The license key is revoked afterwards and you should remove the Pro plugin from your sites.
Your statutory consumer rights, including warranty for defects, are not affected by this policy.
